by specialized training and their profession to use EEG neurofeedback
and other peripheral biofeedback modalities. Additionally, health
care providers are expected to use these screens only within their professional

Use these training screens to
facilitate stability. Good for clients with high beta and/or theta activity.
A counter advances, the animation moves, and music is played from your
choice of CD when both theta (3-7Hz) and high beta (23-38Hz) are
below their thresholds. Use the counter to offer tokens for beating previous
trials. Have prizes displayed for purchase with tokens. This does keep
the kids interested. |

| These screens
have sliders driven by the data channel alpha B minus alpha A divided by
Alpha A plus B. Each slider triggers one note in a chord when the
signal exceeds threshold. If you are working with left and
right alpha the A channel is placed on the left and the B channel on the
right. The alpha slider signal indicators will move to the right
above 0 as more alpha is produced on the right. One screen also has a beta
inhibit slider on it.
Note:
Peter Rosenfeld, PhD has obtained a patent on the use of two channel EEG
biofeedback for depression and pathological conditions. See
patent.. In my opinion the patent is invalid due to prior art.
Dr. Rosenfeld neglected to list Mathew Cade's work which clearly used two
EEG channels to compare right and left hemisphere activity. Although
much of Cade's work focused on higher states of consciousness, it also
addressed pathological states of anxiety, depression and sympathic arousal
reflected in the EEG tracings. However, clinicians are advised to
consult with their attorneys regarding the need to obtain a license to
do alpha asymmetry training. |

This series contains single
and two channel alpha and theta uptraining screens. The audio is driven
by sliders which produce pleasing chords. The thresholds can be adjusted
on the fly to maximize the effectiveness of the audio feedback. Thermal
and skin conduction modalities are monitored. |

This series has two one channel
screens (one for beta uptraining and one for SMR uptraining). The
one channel screens also have theta, high beta, and EMG inhibit instruments
which you can deactivate by rising the treshololds. The maze and
the counter advance when all criterion are met. A two channel screen rewards
beta from the A EEG input channel and SMR from the B EEG input channel
with diffferent tones. The two channel screen has a theta and high beta
inhibit from A plus B theta and high beta. The two channel maze and
counter advance when SMR plus beta are over the adjustable threshold. |
